Cintra is set up to exactly mirror your existing General Ledger account code. If the account code is split into sections you can describe and name each section. Similarly, if your accounting system uses analysis codes then you can describe and name each code relevant to the payroll, just as you do in the accounts system itself.
This means the payroll can be treated, in effect, as an integrated extension to the accounts system. Data entry to the payroll becomes the equivalent of journal entry to your ledgers.
