COCO was set up in August 2000 and since then we have helped to fund projects in
Bosnia, Malawi, Romania, Peru, Tanzania, Uganda, South Africa, Zambia and
Thailand. COCO keeps children happy and healthy by concentrating on education
and health initiatives. We work on small projects that make a big difference to
the lives of children living in poverty throughout the developing world.
COCO’s goal is to eradicate extreme poverty and
hunger and to improve access to education. All our projects are sustainable in
the long-term and meet the needs of the local community, whilst also attempting
to address global barriers to development such as HIV/AIDS, malaria and gender
inequality.
Thanks to our supporters, we are able to help these children so that they can
escape from the poverty trap that their parents have lived and died though, and
so that their futures are much brighter.
